About the Event

Many individuals do not like to think about what will happen to their assets when the unexpected happens. The best way to protect your loved ones and those that matter most to you, is to understand how to proactively set up your assets to be distributed according to your wishes if you pass away. This can be done by making sure that your beneficiaries are reviewed regularly and understanding how the process works. Nicole Gholson and Pam Jung will go through what a beneficiary is, what assets and products can have beneficiaries, who you can list a beneficiary, what the claim process is for a beneficiary and some high level information on estate planning.

Presenters:

Nicole Gholson worked 11 years in law enforcement before starting her career at Northwestern Mutual as a financial representative in April 2023. She believes the starting point of any financial conversation should be with you- your life, your family, your priorities, and your goals. She will listen to what’s important to you and design a financial plan from multiple strategies specifically designed to help get you where you want to be. Nikki will guide you through each step so you’ll feel confident that you can do the things you’ve always wanted to- without having to worry if you can.

Pam Jung is a financial advisor and has been representing Northwestern Mutual since June of 2021. She is committed to helping her clients get closer to their goals by partnering with them in a judgment-free, pressure-free environment with conversations that will be jargon-free. She strives to provide her clients with the best financial planning experience possible. Pam’s team believes the starting point of any financial conversation should be with you - your life, your family, your priorities, and your goals. Her team listens to what's important to you and designs a financial plan from multiple strategies specifically designed to help get you where you want to be.
